NCPlot - Network License Manager

Tools for CNC Programmers

This software allows you to manage all NCPlot software licenses from one location. Simply add product keys to the license manager and any computer on the network can then obtain a license when the software starts up. No need to manually register each copy and no need to move licenses around!

The license manager also supports license check-out. This feature allows use of the software while not connected to the network. Once reconnected, the license can be checked back in to the license manager so that other users may use it.

The license manager would sometimes stop responding to requests from the clients. Found that if the IP address of the listener changed, the license manager would no longer be able to communicate with the clients. The manager will now check for changes to the listener IP address.

Improved the communications code. This version is more stable and works more reliably.
Added the ability to "lock" product keys. This allows you to keep keys in the license manager, but prevent client applications from using them.
Added a warning to the set listener IP address function. If there are licenses in use, then changing the listener IP address will cause them to disconnect from the server. This warning will prompt for confirmation before proceeding with the change.
Added a custom message box. This message box will will not halt the UI thread while waiting for input. It also will automatically close after waiting for 60 seconds.

Updated the interface between the license manager service and the user interface application. The new interface does not rely on TCP communications and is more reliable.
Removed the option for enabling activity logging, this feature is now always enabled.
Both the service and the user interface will keep activity logs. Logs are saved under "C:\NPlot_NLM\Logs".

The license manager has been ported to the .NET framework.
Added support for SketchNC product keys.
Added an elapsed time value for each key. When a key is in use or has been checked out, this timer will show you how long the key has been in its current state.
Added logging to both the license manager UI and the service apps. The log files capture any activity and errors that occur.

Added support for StickFont v2 product keys
The license manager now saves the product keys as they are added instead of only when shutting down. This prevents the loss of the added keys if the manager shuts down unexpectedly.
Changed the shutdown behavior when the OS is shutting down. It will no longer prompt to confirm license manager shutdown, instead it closes down quietly in this case.
